Hey, my tractor is an M also. Although I'm saddened to say it's not a Super M.

I'm a 46 year old self employed man from the Midwest. Maried 20 years, kids, Wife self employed also. Fiscally conservative, politically Libertarian, I have been politically active since the '70's.(I vote) I penned the phrase "It's not the distance it's the direction." (originally in the context of my wife's spending, but found it has universal adaptation.) I am a firm believer in the "Rule of 72" when it comes to compound interest. ( Hense the need for direction) Since my family doesn't listen maybe I can "preach" freely here. I'll apologize in advance for any duress this causes. I like a road less traveled and I get few moments to log on, so I'm mainly going to hang here and try to mixx it up. Mixx is a refreshing bunch I'm proud to know. I think I give up too much information, anywho here's a poem I wrote 20 something years ago. I hope you enjoy.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////StoneArch\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ There's a bridge outside the edge of town ///////////// It's made of stone it won't fall down \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Built o'er a hundred years ago /////////////// It's stood time's test of rain & snow \\\\\\\\\\\\\\ It used to carry loaded trains
/////////////// East and west across the plains \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Today it carries bicycles //////////// Jiggling juggs and testicles \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Work To Live to Live To Work/////////// Reduced to just a rural perk \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Constructed by the immigrant ///////////// Who came to work & never went \\\\\\\\\\\\\ Soon his sons & sons of those ///////////// Were growing native corn in rows \\\\\\\\\\\\\ Today the youngsters gather here /////////////// They smoke their stuff & drink their beer \\\\\\\\\\\\\\ They draw a buck knife from it's sheath //////////// To carve initials underneath\\\\\\\\\

Another poem-- Virgin autumn snow creates a world so white.... Virgin married lady on her wedding night....Cold winds from the northern reign sweep across the southern plain removing flakes within their pull to ripple round each obstacle.........Anxious groom who tries in vain to release her from her pain, urge to shove and coax to pull and wrinkles from each obstacle..........

Another-- She was a long legged blonde haired lady of the night. She quoted me a price. We didn't need to fight. We went up to the hotel room and stayed there all night. She woudn't spend a dime no no the lady was tight. A Ha Hoomb Whoa Whoa Whoa A Ha Hoomb Whoa Whoa Whoa We'd met in the lobby, just inside the doors. I'd picked up a hankie and I'd asked," Is this yours?" Her blues eyes a twinkle she said "It is now." She sauntered up slowly & wiped the sweat from my brow. Now I paid for dinner and I sprung for the room. Parting in the morning even bought her perfume. I was hailing a cab at a quarter till noon. She stole me a glance it was a sinister swoon. Her blue eyes a twinkle they were shining so bright. She asked, "One more time?" So I said,"Alright." Well,I tipped the Cabbie and he went on his way. Never before have I been so glad to stay. She was tighter than a cork in a bottle of wine. With those long legs -n- stockings the lady looked fine. She was tighter than a thumb in a thumb screw. She was tighter than me but was she tighter than you. A Ha Hoomb Woa Woa Woa A Ha Hoomb Woa Oa O She wouldn't spend a dime. It should have been a crime ( We're only buying time.) For love to be is free you see.

Last one-- She said to me and I quote "When you told me you loved me you lied". Down on the paper I wrote "When you told me you're leaving I cried". How could I tell her, how could I say? The feelings I had for her every day. How could I tell her from the depths of my soul. She had invaded and taken control.
I spent two years on a boat. I needed some place to hide, I found out it wouldn't float. So I jumped over the side. How could I tell them, how could I say? "They were lost in a gray haze" and soon underway. How could I tell them as the tow rope they'd pull. Had now been severed I'd retaken control.
I landed down in the moat, I lost my last bit of pride. Some body threw me a coat, otherwise I might have died. How could I tell God when I tried to pray, "Please spare me the rod while I find my way". My tragedies seemed to move to a lull. His will not mine, now I'll maintain self control.
I'm done sowing wild oats. I don't regret that I tried. It led me to Bible quotes. Before my bridges were fried. How can I tell you, how can I say. With out making you want to walk away. I truly believe from the depths of my soul, we're better off if we put Him in control.

Citizen of Creation.......Is this Heaven?....(Am I redeemed?)...
