upping only geniunely interesting stories, burying only spam (blatant advertising cons and such).
the bad thing now is that many occurences of the same story hit frontpage, when only one wouldve been appropriate.

quick suggestion: we REALLY REALLY REALLY need an "upcoming" page, to quickly see the most voted up stories among the recent ones.
