Being in Bordeaux, I simply had to visit Cognac as well, since it is one of the drinks that match up really well with a good cigar. We visited Hine and Braastad cognac producers.

When I saw a batch of Saint Luis Rey Serie A dating from before 2000 (i.e. no box code) in La Casa del Habano Dubai, I couldn't resist and picked up a few.

I was excited to hear that Pete Johnson was extending the Cabaiguan line to include a several vitolas with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. I find the Cabaiguan guapos with the sungrown wrappers to be delicious.

I'm really falling in love with H. Upmann cigars lately. Magnum 46 must be my favorite corona gorda and its bigger brother, the majestic Magnum 50 is a really delicious grand/double robusto.

Romeo y Julieta Aniversario Corona has an impressive 92 rating and is #19 in the top 25. CA mentions the flavors of cedar, earth, licorice and nuts.
