  1. Recommended to me and the rest of the SB crew by our very own Reem. Looks like a touching documentary.

  2. You just know that somehow the 'little people' here are gonna make a whole lot more sense and make a whole load more progress and, somehow, they'll find similarities and open doors where 'big people' struggle.

And whatcha know....they did exactly that. I mean the answers they came up with were simplistic and real no-sh*t-Sherlock stuff but what can I say, they're right! That said the film is filled with them echoing adult voices they've heard, adult bigotry (when the director tells the Palestinian kid he's an authentic Jew is classic!), day to day living revealing the humanity on both sides but then their voicing that what they've being made into and that is the real tragedy. That the futility of war, its victims, its effects on its survivors is STILL ignored by those responsible for pushing for more of the same. But being kids those that are reserved, even hostile, ditch the attitude pretty quickly when they meet.

Screw copyright if it exists in this case...somethings need to be heard.
GoogleVideo has a 1hr40minute copy of the documentary.

The whole thing is worth watching but if you don't have time the run up to the kids meeting starts at 1hr10 but I'll warn you now. Watch more than 10 minutes and you'll lose another hour and a half.
