jedreport.com — This anti-McCain video, put together in February by a Ron Paul supporter, is just brutal. Some of it is a little off the beaten track, but up to the 7 minute mark, it is devastating, especially starting at the 2:30 mark.

  1. Sen. McCain is a true politician in every sense of the word. He tells you what you *want* to hear, without even flinching. He knows the right thing to say in front of any audience, contradictions to his previous comments notwithstanding.

I really have to wonder what went on during the primaries. If Sen. McCain is really this crooked, insane, lying through the skin of his teeth traitor, then how the hell did he become the presumptive nominee in the first place?!?

  2. @ih8mondays the system that all but ignored Ron Paul got him to where he is...who control the media?

  3. @yoda I don't think that media alone is to blame for all this. The clip features interviews from CNN and NBC(?). Prior to his victory at the primaries, there had been times when what he said on and off camera should have all but demolished his credibility and his campaign. I would agree with you if it were a neck and neck race like between Hillary and Obama.

I think there's a lot more that went on behind the scenes at these Republican conventions. Any Republicans here want to clue us in?

  4. wow that was a great video. I truly see the Bushisms of McCain. I never really paid that much attention to him but thats stupid. I dont understand why the Reps picked him. I thought the evangelical Rep voters would be all over Huck. They seem to be the majority of the Rep vote but I guess not. I guess he wasnt pro war enough.

  5. You can probably count all the Rep Mixxers on one hand. Seems that away with the majority of the submissions that are posted.

  7. @ih8mondays oh, i do. McCain's early showings were in the teens. Paul is getting in the teens NOW!

think about that for a little while. Paul is very big, even now, and was nearly as big as McCain at first.

What did Paul do that "demolished his credibility"? Compared to what this and the youtube video posted a couple of weeks ago have shown McCain doing that clearly and openly demolishes any he has? which is none, really....

So what did Paul do that did that?

The major media is owned by companies that make money off of war and controlling the population. It's true, look it up.

  8. @yoda I think you misunderstood my comment. From the beginning of this thread, I did not say anything nor was I talking about Ron Paul. I was talking about McCain's credibility being demolished by what McCain himself has said and done on and off camera.

I was asking about how and why McCain won the primaries. It really escapes me as to how a lying scumbag traitor like McCain won. Mainstream media notwithstanding. It should have been the other way around. Prior to his win in the primaries, almost all mainstream media coverage about McCain had something that put him in negative light. He has been blasted by Vietnam veterans as a traitor. That should have been it for him, granting how patriotic Americans are.

I am trying to understand what's going on, what happened and how it happened. If you look my profile up, you will know why: I'm not American. Don't get me wrong. I *like* Ron Paul... I especially like his proposed policies on immigration.

    > The major media is owned by companies that make money off of war and controlling the population. It's true, look it up.

No arguing with that. I generally mistrust mainstream media. That's why I turn to people online, like you, who are actually there and actually know what's going on. So far from what I gather from you, McCain won because:

    1. Mainstream media boosted him up and eschewed other candidates. Negative stories notwithstanding.
    2. Teens helped him win.

I don't think that's enough though and that there's more to it than that. From what my employer (based in Georgia, a GOP state) tells me, McCain won "because the old farts wanted to teach the GOP a lesson".
